J Walkers - Youth Ministry is comprised of 6th grade through 12th grade students.  We strive to equip our youth with biblical knowledge to help them combat temptation while empowering them to stand strong in their faith.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.  2 Corinthians 5:7

Vision:  To empower and equip our youth to learn to pursue a deep personal relationship with Jesus!

Our Kingdom Point youth group is a fun safe place for the youth to meet, fellowship, and learn more about Christ.

How can a young person stay on the path of purity?  By living according to your word.  Psalm 119:9

Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.  1 Timothy 4:12

Our monthly format:

Parent Night

We believe it is important for the parents to be involved.  Our philosophy is to strengthen, support, and reinforce the parents discipleship of thier children.  Parent night allows the parents to partake in the youth group, interact with other parents and the youth ministers.

Fun Night

It is designed to have fun living life as Christians and to enjoy a time of fellowship together.

Discipleship

Our Youth Ministers bring a relevant message through the application of scripture.  We believe we can arm the youth with the tools necessary to follow Christ in a complex world.

Leadership

We believe it is important for the youth to have an active tole in leadership.  Once a month we provide the youth with the opportunity to preach, teach, and lead other youth in following the Lord.
